Nusa Dua - Indonesia held the third Tin Conference and Exhibition (ITCE). In this event hundreds of tin entrepreneurs from several worlds gather to see Indonesia as the largest exporter country in the world.

The event was held at Sofitel Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali, (19/09/2016) which opened at around 10:00 WITA. The event, organized by Indonesian Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX), is the theme of Navigating Indonesia Becoming The Global Leader in Tins Industry.

The event was attended by about 250 participants from abroad and in the country. Present as an opening event such as ICDX CEO Megain Widjaja, Head of Bappebti Bachrul Chairi, Expert Staff of Macro Economics and International Finance Ministry of Finance, Andin Hadiyanto.

With this theme is expected to strengthen Indonesia's position in the global trade arena through the tin industry sector. ITCE 2016 will strengthen Indonesia's position as the world's best quality tin producer and will provide the best guidance for Indonesian tin industry players to lead the world's tin industry.

ITCE 2016 will be held on September 18-20 at Bali Island. Megain said that currently the tin industry is having some challenges both domestically and abroad so hopefully with this event can answer the questions.

"Currently, the tin industry is faced with various challenges, both from within or from abroad. But we are very optimistic, Indonesia can answer the various challenges that exist, and make Indonesia as a key player and a determinant of world tin prices. ITCE 2016 is one of the best places to find answers to these challenges, "said Megain Widjaja," at Sofi Hotel, Bali Nusa Dua, Monday (19/09/2016).

As speakers were also present economic observer Faisal Basri, Chairman of Indonesia Timah Exporters Association Jabin Sufianto, and Yunnan Tin Group Zhao Zhong. In addition, in this event there are also some booth tin companies that exhibit its products, such as PT Timah Indonesia. (Hns / hns)
