"Indonesia as the largest supplier should have bargaining power and contribute to the determination of world tin price," added Bachrul Chairi.

According to him, ICDX is now the reference of world tin price, although there are some other issues that must be improved in the future as the lead community determined LME in London.

But even though ICDX is still young, it is trying to contribute to world tin price.

"We hope to be the leader of world tin prices. But some steps must be taken to strengthen the tin industry. What the government has done is determining the purity of tin and it is expected that tin industry is more conducive from upstream to downstream, avoiding illegal mining, environmental sustainability that has an effect on export tin requirement. We will create a high quality product, "explains Bachrul Chairi.
